Attention JUNIORS! Pocock work party---THIS SATURDAY, THE 12th

Greetings, Pocock Junior Crew families!
Hope this finds you peaceful in this holiday season - and warm. We had a great fall season and now as the rowers are nestled snuggly into ergs, an opportunity arises to meet the larger PRC community and pitch in.
If you have some time on Saturday (yes - the day after tomorrow ), please consider dropping by the boathouse for PRC's work party. Also, please encourage your junior rower to do the same. Varsity rower Sam Pettet's dad, Terry is organizing the work party, so it would be great to have a strong showing from the junior crew family. Please email Terry to RSVP so that he can form up teams to get the most work done quickly. His email is:
Be watching your email in the new year for information about the spring season. Hug your rower and all the best for the holidays.
Happy new decade,

Subject: Pocock work party---THIS SATURDAY, THE 12th

Dear Independent Rowers,

As you've doubtlessly seen from the e-mailed PRC newsletters, as well as the flyers at the Boathouse, the first and only PRC Work Party of 2009 is occurring this Saturday at 10 am, right after the annual Membership Meeting at 9.  There are several fun, team-building, self-esteem-creating, and deeply, deeply satisfying improvements to the PRC that only the Boathouse's Independent rowers---the backbone of the PRC, really, when all is said and done---can really do as well as they deserve.  I'm helping out a little bit this year with the event, and I would greatly appreciate it if you would please attend, and help me out.

Of course, you certainly won't want to miss the Membership Meeting at 9.  (Make sure to get there early so that you can hear Matt and Julian and MC Chair Warren Perkins sing the new Pocock fight song, Let's Make A Splash.)

Would you please e-mail me back and let me know that you'll be able to be here to help us, and if you've any time limitations?  The work party should last between two and four hours.

Thanks very much.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Terry Goodwin
